Archipelago

Today U.S. President George W. Bush designated the Nortwestern Hawaiian Islands a national monument, creating the largest marine reserve in the world. It is an archipelago 1,400 miles long and 100 miles wide that is home to rare marine mammals, fishes and birds. It's home to more than 7,000 species, at least a fourth of them found nowhere else. Okay, so you know when someone you know (okay the President in this case) does something totally uncharacteristic and surprising and you're like "Hmmm. Weird." Then you start thinking, "hmmm, did he do that do take our minds off of something else?!" Anyway, great environmental victory. Though, you know what this means...

...NO OIL HERE!!!
